I'm not too sure about power anywhere but I know I have a whacky HR when I compare inside vs. outside riding. My short burst HR for 30-60 second efforts is noticeably higher inside but once you get to a 5 minute interval I can noticeably hold a higher HR outside. Surely its mental since I never go into training inside nearly as excited as I go into training outside. Another thing I notice is that I regularly get second bursts of gas when training outside. Once I'm fried on the trainer I rarely get that spark back.
